oh god. this scene just warms me instantly. in an episode that clearly tried to make sure it stood out, this scene did the complete opposite. and that’s why i love it so much. it’s natural and private and intimate and, in my opinion, expressed how in love these two are more than any other scene did. the way they look at each other throughout, the mental pictures, the tie-cutting.. they’re all little things that are charming in their own understated way, much like these two. it really is just genuinely sweet and sincere, and that’s why it’s my favourite scene.

I bought those boat tickets the day I saw that You Tube video. I knew we’d need a back-up plan. The boat was actually Plan C. The church was Plan B and Plan A was marrying her a long, long time ago. Pretty much the day I met her.
